STUDENT COOPERATIVE “GRANA”
AUTISM CENTER OF ZAGREB
Student cooperative “Grana” was founded in 2008. Center for Autism in Zagreb.
The cooperative work included:
- Students from the Program for education of students with intellectual disabilities in the development / mental retardation
- Students from the Program for elementary school students with autism

OBJECTIVES OF PROGRAM ACTIVITIES OF STUDENT COOPERATIVE
- development and acquisition-generating work habits in students
- ideas and initiatives to encourage individuals and teams in creative work
- developing a sense of aesthetic values
- development of creative abilitiesdeveloping environmental awareness
- preservation of cultural heritage and traditional forms of culture
- encourage the establishment of communication and social relationships
- Entrepreneurial Learning
Our students’ cooperatives participated and presented at various events and festivities, we will mention a few:
- Festival of student cooperatives City of Zagreb Mark’s Fair
- Fair product Croatian village
- Zagreb International Autumn Fair
- Eco-Ethno Fair
- Spring Fair Elementary School Dr. Ivan Mertz
- Festival of Equal Opportunities
- Day of V. Novak Elementary School
- World Autism Awareness Day
- Open Day Jabukovac – cooperation with teacher training department of the Academy of Fine Arts, University of Zagreb
Student cooperative work have been exhibited in:
- Library Tin Ujević
- Museum of the MUP
- Premises DM
and traditionally in the area of our Center for autism on the occasion of various events
Written articles on the work and achievements of our cooperatives have been published in magazines, “Unikat” “Radost”, “Autism”, Journal of the MUP and others.
In our cooperative work are included, and parents of students who provide support to the cooperatives or are directly involved in its operations through the sale of our works.

and promote students cooperatives!
